Hi there! My name is Tommy. I am a user experience designer and front-end developer based out of Long Island, New York. I've been described as someone with an engineering mindset but with a creative eye. This, plus my vast skillset, has made me quite unique within the industry.
Get to know me
Throughout my professional experience, I have had the opportunity to completely redesign the website and content strategy for a $100mil business, redefine the taxonomy and website design for a $5.4B company, and execute a number of initiatives with a large variety of smaller companies while working at an agency.

At BEDGEAR, I had the unique opportunity to redefine the direct-to-consumer business strategy and create a new website experience that was data-driven and consumer-first. I created a new user experience through research and data, and executed some of the frontend development work for the final site. On top of this, I worked as project manager for multiple departments including creative assets, copywriting, development, QA testing, and solution integrations.
During my time at Microchip, we underwent a website refresh. It was my responsibility to take existing user research and translate it into a fully functional site accommodating over 100,000+ pages. I defined a site architecture/taxonomy to support the growing product catalog, as well as designed key landing pages. Also, I was responsible for maintaining the massive catalog of content and execute frontend development for site elements and landing pages.
Z2 Media was a marketing and web design agency, where I worked with a variety of clients including musicians, e-commerce businesses, realtors, and even other agencies. I met with clients to identify website requirements, create mockups, and execute custom WordPress sites. In addition, I did quite a bit of graphic design work including logo design, print marketing materials, and digital web assets.
Working alongside the owner and his partner, I created the brand strategy and brand identity for Little John's Lawns. During my time with them, I created the logo, defined color and typography use cases, created print marketing materials (including large-scale prints like billboards and truck wraps), and digital assets. I developed their first website, based on the brand strategy I created. In addition, I put together their marketing plan across all social channels and was responsible for creating assets and executing the initiatives I set forth.
Thanks for stopping by! I am currently open to remote roles or in-person roles on Long Island or the Greater New York Metropolitan Area, specifically within the user experience and product design field. Let's connect.
