BEDGEAR is a leader in innovative sleep technology; however, over time, the site design and content failed to convey this innovation to the user. Often, users would be confused about the purpose of a product or would struggle to find a product in the first place.

solution

Through extensive user research and testing, I created a new content strategy for BEDGEAR that put users first, including copy, graphics, photography, animations, and more. Also, I created a new website experience based on the collected data - optimizing the user flow, prioritizing the information affecting a user's purchasing decision at the forefront of each page, and providing opportunities for post-interactions with the consumer.

After launching the website, we saw a huge lift in consumer satisfaction with BEDGEAR.com. Some highlights include: drastic reduction in calls to customer service regarding issues and confusion with the site; improved navigation, reducing average page to checkout by 1.4 pages/user; reduced product return rate by 2000%; increased fitting quiz completions by 340% and generating 3x revenue.

By putting the users first and trusting the data I had collected, I was able to significantly improve the experience of BEDGEAR.com users.
